Bali is undoubtedly a tropical paradise. Beautiful beaches, lush landscapes, enchanting culture, and let’s not forget the delicious cuisine and friendly people! All the qualities of a dreamy island holiday are here for you in Bali.
And no Bali holiday is complete without enjoying a gorgeous sunset, especially if you’re staying at Seminyak or Legian on the west coast of Bali. Sunsets along this coastline are stunning, and there are a few ways you can enjoy sundown here. While the sun is still out, don’t forget sunscreen!
If you want to take in life along the beaches of Seminyak, Double 6, Legian, and Kuta as you wait for the sun to dip down below the horizon, a leisurely walk may be ideal for you.
Wandering along the main beach roads and pavements may get hectic with scooters and other traffic, so you may want to head to the beachside path. Or, if you prefer a little splash, you can always walk by the water as the waves roll up.
After a walk along the shore, you may be ready for a refreshing beverage. Bali’s beaches offer many options for relaxing and soaking in the sunset.
For a beach club experience, there are restaurants and bars like Vitamin Sea, Ku De Ta, and La Plancha that line the beachfront. Under a forest of umbrellas, you may see a sea of colourful bean bags or tables and chairs, where guests sip and snack away as the sun goes on its way.
You may also notice more informal set-ups of plastic chairs and short, sturdy, yet time-worn wooden tables served by locals armed with a cooler or two. Your beverage choices may be limited to whatever is in the cooler, but you can usually order food from one of the nearby restaurants. And the sunset is just as beautiful.
For a wider, more uninterrupted view of the beach and the ocean as day turns to evening, you may want to head up to the roof.
There are many restaurants and bars that take advantage of being in a multi-storey building, creating spaces where you can enjoy panoramic views with a drink or meal. This includes places like Double-Six Rooftop and MoonLite Kitchen and Bar.
But you don’t have to climb to great heights to get a great view along Seminyak or Legian. At our very own La Casa Mexican & Sunset Bar at Anantara Vacation Club Legian Bali, you can just climb the stairs to a gorgeous view of the sunset over Legian beach.
Anantara Vacation Club has not one, but two Club Resorts in Bali. Along with the property mentioned above in Legian, there is also Anantara Vacation Club at Avani Seminyak Bali.
Owners can login here or contact Club Services to check out the sunsets at these or other Club Resorts (or the many other destinations around the world you can access with Anantara Vacation Club!).
